Fitness Walking
Step into wellness with poles and purpose

Low-impact, high-reward fitness walking
We offer a range of walks, every week. Some longer (approx 2 hours), some shorter (approx 1 hour). They are always in a small and friendly group and will help you improve your fitness, stamina and even your social skills! It can be an ideal way of working back to fitness after illness or injury.
We use Nordic Walking techniques - walking with poles gives an all-body workout as we enjoy the open coutryside. Our starting points are Tiddenfoot Waterside Park, The Three Locks Pub, The Globe Pub and Totternhoe Knolls in and around Leighton Buzzard and Linslade.
Each walk is led by a qualified Walk Leader and First Aider.
A typical weekly schedule:
Thursday mornings - 9:00 am
Friday mornings - 9:00 am
Saturday mornings - 9:00 am
Sunday mornings at 10.00 am
Please check the walks, when you book on the link below.
Our Qualified Walk Leaders
All our walk leaders are fully trained in Nordic pole walking techniques through Nordic Walking UK. They hold accredited qualifications in Emergency First Aid and defibrillation. Each leader is also skilled in delivering warm up and cool down exercises and is trained to assess and respond to potential risks or emergencies. You're in safe and capable hands.
